Hi all,

Does anyone know that can the periods covered for the standard deviation channel indicator be set to the no. of days from the last date, like moving average indicator, 50 days for eg.

Also, does MetaStock know to calculate how many days are there within 2 dates and what is the date that is x days b4 or after another date.

Standard Deviation Channel is a Line Study in MetaStock, so you draw it over the periods you want. You can configure the "Units" (Deviations). There are Standard Deviation Bands and Bollinger Bands that are indicators you can control the periods and deviations on. As for identifying values between dates, there is an external DLL here on the forum that I believe could do what you are looking for. More information can be found in the thread below:
