Dear friends,

while plotting a moving average on a chart, I wonder if it would be possible to show it in different colours - i.e., green or red - according to the positioning of underlying prices within it.

Something like making the MA green if prices are above it and red it prices are below it? This can't be done with a single MA.

You can create two moving averages of the same periodicity and method. Let's call them greenMA and redMA. If C > MA, redMA = 0 and if C < MA, greenMA = 0. This means that with price above the MA you will see one indicator and with price below MA you will see the other. Then you can manually paint them with the colors you want and save the template.It is likely to mess up the chart but this is the only way afaik.
