Join Stan Freifeld as he gives the presentation that he recently gave at the NYC Traders Expo.

Trading Delta Neutral positions is a strategy that is used by both professional and non-professional traders to increase profits and reduce risk. The concept is to remove, or significantly reduce, the directional component in a position so that profits can be made whether the underlying security moves up or down.

This then frees the trader from having to predict the direction of the underlying asset. Mr. Freifeld will provide the definition of “Delta Neutral” and discuss its advantages and disadvantages.

Finally will then show you how to create a Delta Neutral position and provide an example, as well as a brief description of Greeks to get you up to speed.

About Stan Freifeld

Stan comes to us from the Floor of the American Stock Exchange where he traded options for his own account from 1994-2001. He was a Market Maker for the options on several active equities.

His knowledge of the rules and regulations of the Exchange, combined with his reputation for honesty, integrity, and fairness enabled him to be appointed as a Floor Official where he served on several Exchange Committees.

Stan, a long time MENSA member, is an engaging teacher with an extraordinary background in options trading and risk management. He is helpful and patient by nature and equally at ease with all levels of traders, from complete novices to advanced pros and academics.
