Hello,

I have An Indicator and I have An Explorer.

The Indicator has (Pds valus or input function).

Can I control In the Explorer to giving or changing ( Pds valus or input function )

I said that so I do not need to create other indicators. Only one Indicator Enough.

In the Explore  Just change the value to give ( Pds valus or input function ) .

Is that Possible..

Regards,

Regards,

Hi,

You cannot use the Input function directly within the Explore tool. You can use the FML function to call an indicator from the Indicator Builder that uses the Input function. In this case, Explore will simply use the "Default" input value - Input("Text",min, max, default).

You can also replace the input function with a simple variable call, but there is no way to be prompted for input values prior to an exploration.

That Means I can not search with another value

Only the default value.

Is that right ..

Thank you.

Using FML to bring the Input function into the Explorer, you would need to edit the Default value of the indicator to use a different value. Alternately, you might want to consider Copy/Pasting the entire indicator into the exploration, then change the Input function to a simple variable, but either way the value will need to be edited each time you want to adjust, there is no way to have a pop-up type input dialogue with the Explorer.
