I am interested in setting up a custom folder of stocks which I can import from an Excell spreadsheet. I there anyway of doing that with MS 14 EOD? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,
This is definitely possible to do, although the functionality is not too obvious. Once you have the column of symbols copied onto your clipboard:
1. Open MetaStock
2. Right-click on the "Instruments 0 of ####" at the top of the MetaStock Power Console and choose Manage Custom Lists...
3. Click the "New" button and choose "Online Instruments"
4. Give the list a name
5. Left-click your mouse in the large white box below the "Add" buttons
6. Press Ctrl-V on your keyboard and whatever is on your clipboard will get pasted into this large white box
7. Click Save
As long as these are valid Reuters Instrument Codes, these symbols should have no trouble opening charts, running scans, etc.
