Can anyone help- I am trying to run "Test" on data files to check for errors. But any file I try to open Downloader 11 gives the error "Data file in (Directory) are in use by one or more multi-user applications". I have tried to move the data to a new directory but the error persists. What are these 'multi-user applications" and how do I get to access my data files? Otherwise everything seems to work normally. Thanks

Are you using MetaStock Pro or MetaStock End-of-Day (I was not able to find an account under your email address)?

There could be 3rd party applications that are reading the data in a folder (a number of programs read the MetaStock Data Format), so it is hard to say which one that might be.

Hello,

any news on how to fix this problem?

Any chance that upgrading to the newest version (13) may result in having the issue fixed?

Thanks...

Hi,

What problem are you referring to exactly (this is a several month old post regarding the DownLoader)?
