Hi everyone, I had to install more updates again on the forum. I have already gone through 2 or 3 updates and installed many modifications to the forum. I'm affraid that updating the forum has become a little difficult in the current conditions ... That last update was not fun to do. So for the next update I will just build up a brand new install. Of course I will backup all the users, posts and everything that has be done so far. And ultimately nothing will change for the users. But since I'm planning on a rebuild, figured I would ask everyone for suggestions, comments. What do you like? What don't you like? ... For example, how do you think the forum should be organized. I was thinking about something like : PRODUCT DISCUSSIONS : MetaStock Plug-Ins/Add-ons Support Questions DEV DISCUSSIONS : Formula Requests/Questions Dll Functions Wish List RESOURCES MetaStock Training Formula Training Downloads METASTOCK FAQs Charting Data System tester Etc .. etc ... I'm guessing the next update will be in a month or so. So till then please let me know what your suggestions are. Patrick

FYI : I have started working on the new design and as a result I will remove the store and the points system since there is no use for it and no time can be made available to organize it. The site map will be removed as well. I hope this ok with everyone Patrick

Here is the new forum ... :D Hope you like it ( can't be worse than the last one  ) Besides looking a 100 times better you will see how much faster this runs. I updated the security as well, noone can send you a private message or an email from here. There are tons of other little things that only a geeklike me can appreciate but trust me when I say that it was worth the effort. let me kno what you think. Patrick  There will bugs, let me know by sending a email to forumadmin@equis.com

Thank you all :D Now that it runs much faster it is possible for me to list more content on one page. Regarding the width, it seems to be a problem with firefox only, but since that is what I use primarily I will fix it sometimes soon. Patrick

Nice! The width seems fine to me too, at least in a 1024x768 resolution. Speaking of green... WOW  LOL!

At 1280 x 1024 resolution, the posts are still off the screen on the right side. :(

It should be fixed on IE6 ... I'm still working on fixing it on firefox, especially the portal. Patrick

After a few days of debbuging, I'm pretty sure that the forum is working great and is stable. Unfortunately I still could not figure out the firefox problem Sad (Sorry wabbit Orange_Colorz_PDT_37 ), for firefox users let me just say that you can refresh the page to fix the width issue. Now onto training ... I have been slacking a little with that but I should record the formula training lesson 3 by the end of this week. Regarding the other training I'm waiting to get a new microphone but have not forgot about it Orange_Colorz_PDT_18 All the "programming" projects are taking the back seat right now, especially since I did not get enough input yet. I'm not reffering to the wish list here, which I will review and compile at some point. As always if your post does not get answered you can ( should ) bump it up by posting a reply to it. To conclude, let me say welcome to all the newcomers. Don't be affraid to post. Patrick
