In MetaStock v9.1, I have a Gold Monthly chart. This is via a template and the chart opened in a layout. The periodicity button is Monthly, and Gold data going back to 1975. But in Nov. 2009 it changes to Daily. Data comes from Unfair Advantage and settings are CSIM / Monthly, and shows up as monthly in UA.
Anyone have a clue whats going on? This happens in other Monthly and some Weekly charts as well.

I have not seen a chart change periodicity half way through the data. If you open the data with the clean.mwt template, does it do the same thing? If it does, please copy that data file to a new folder and email the data file and the associate master files to Support@equis.com. Include a short description of the issue and we will look investigate the cause.
